Luke 18:7-8 – “And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? 8 I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

Why would something written over 2000 years ago have any meaning today? The majority of the postmodern world would say it has no meaning today.

Does cultural relevance/meaning have any causative impact on truth? If something is true and yet it is denied or given no credence in the culture does that make the truth untrue?

Cutting to the chase… Look around and tell me if the God of the Bible, Jesus Christ, would find faith in the world today? Faith being defined as knowing the one true God and Jesus Christ whom he sent.

Jesus gave signs for his church to look for that would point to his return. He also gave warning to his disciples not to be found lolly gagging in the world when he did return.

Justice is a scary to ask or pray for if you’re in the world when it is delivered by God. For God shows no favoritism and will give to each exactly what their deeds deserve.

Psalm 122:6-9

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! “May they be secure who love you!

Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!”

For my brothers and companions’ sake I will say, “Peace be within you!”

For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your good.
