Eph 6:12 – "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood..."

DESTIN explores what happens when a man just like us is radically saved, gains intimacy with Jesus and the Father through the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises, is discipled and empowered by Jesus in works of ministry, and is sent out by Jesus to do the will of the Father who sent him.

Luke 10:3-4, 9, 16, 19-20 – Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves. Do not take a purse or bag or sandals; …Heal the sick who are there and tell them, The kingdom of God has come near to you. …Whoever listens to you listens to me; whoever rejects you rejects me; but whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me. …19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 20 However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

2Cor 2:14-17 – But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life.

2Cor 10:3-5 – For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

IT ALL BEGINS AT SUNSET ON A BEACH IN DESTIN!
