Of all the things Jesus taught, perhaps the most shocking to the world is that he taught the devil has children in the world. In reality, the devil is the greatest of all heavenly creatures Jesus has ever created and perfectly fulfills the reason for his creation. 

Jesus speaks of people being children of the devil in John 8:44 – You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. John reiterates the devil has children in 1John 3:10 – By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother. 

Jesus taught the origin of the children of the devil and their destiny in his Parable of the Weeds. 

Matthew 13:37-43 – He [Jesus] answered, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. 40 Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, 42 and throw them [children of the devil] into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

The point being these children of the devil have been in the midst of the church since the beginning and focused on apostasy. Do not be deceived…
