Temporal Life (TL) Meaning and Purpose are absolutely found in work, the vocation of one’s life. TL Meaning is discovered as one becomes engaged and then competent in what they are performing. TL engagement is enhanced by proper alignment with personality and temperament. TL Purpose is discovered as one becomes productive and then masterful in what they are performing. Productivity is enhanced by development and inspires innovation.

Temporal Life is experienced being in the world and of the world. The longer one lives a Temporal Life the more you realize the world is passing away along with its desires. “For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes” (Jas 4:14).

Eternal Life (EL) Meaning and Purpose are absolutely found in the knowledge of the truth. EL Meaning is discovered as one comes by faith to the knowledge of the truth (2Ti 3:7). EL engagement is enhanced by sequentially adding to faith – goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, mutual affection, and love (2 Peter 1:5-8) . EL Purpose is discovered in doing by faith “goods works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Eph 2:10).

Eternal Life is experience in the world but is NOT of the world. The longer one lives the Eternal Life you realize it “teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ (Tit 2:13-14).
