#035 The book of Exodus is at the heart of many of the redemption themes that run through the Bible. In this narrative text, God reveals his authority, power, and will through the exodus of Israel out of Egypt. He establishes a moral code for humanity to faithfully observe leading to righteousness - wherein obedience leads to life and abundance, and disobedience leads to rejection and destruction.

God also introduces Israel as a priesthood that will serve him, provide purification for the people, and act on behalf of the covenant people with God. And finally, God designed and had constructed a portable replica of his throne room in heaven in which He tabernacles with his people, Israel.
