#045 This episode deals with the books of 1 & 2 Chronicles and is a companion episode to #044 which addressed 1 & 2 Kings. Both episodes, #044 and #045, deal with HUGE leadership and faith issues found in the kings of Israel to either take their people into prosperity and joy or conflict, devastation, horror. Kings deals with the bad endings of people with bad kings. Chronicles deals with good kings who recover their people from calamity and lead them into prosperity. Of course, a return to calamity is only one king away.
Listen and examine your own leadership and walk of faith principles and influences you respond to in guiding others or just yourself. Proverbs 29:2 – “When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan.” Find out who is rejoicing and who is groaning in your organization and then look for the “influencer.”
The difference between righteous and wicked is significant and should not be ignored. Unless of course wickedness allows you to get your way. Because in today’s culture, as in times past, doing wickedness is “just” if you get what you want.
